This red Clerkenwell Tab Shirt from Oliver Spencer has been made in Portugal from 100% cotton for a soft and lightweight finish that suits casual everyday wear, whilst also being suitable for pairing with smarter jackets. Small pearlescent buttons fasten the front and lead up to a slim square cotton that is secured by a tab closure. The final button hole on the front placket has been stitched with a signature red bar-tack detail and a label showing the coordinates to the first Oliver Spencer store has been attached onto the reverse. The body has a slightly curved hem for a flattering finish with fabric inserts on either side, and the sleeves are fastened with single button closures alongside a placket.
Autumn/winter ‘19 from Oliver Spencer reflections inspirations from Alpine landscapes across tailored shirts, jackets and trousers made from textural velvet, corduroy and a selection natural fibres. Muted colour tones such as grey, beige and navy sit alongside ginghams and checks which have been carefully sourced from Italian and British mills. Having named 2019 as ‘the year of slow fashion’ this release captures the labels ongoing focus on sustainability which is achieved through the fabric sourcing, manufacture and timeless design.
